Welcome to AstroFetch
AI-Powered Astronomy Data Service
Ask questions about exoplanets in your own words. AstroFetch writes the ADQL, runs it against the NASA Exoplanet Archive, and helps you explore the results with plots and follow-up analysis, all in the same conversation.

Quick tips
- One topic per chat. Start a new chat for each question or problem. Long conversations consume more context and tokens, which slows responses and dilutes accuracy.
- Be specific. "Stars within 30 pc with confirmed planets" beats "nearby planet hosts."
- Check the ADQL. AstroFetch shows the query it ran - column-name mismatches are the most common error mode.
- Download CSVs for anything you'd cite. Plots are illustrative; the CSV is the canonical artifact.
- Rate the responses. One- and two-star ratings with comments are especially valuable during the beta.
